💙Bluebird Springtime Journal🌷

🌷Its looking like springtime in my craft room!

Hello crafty friends🌼

I've been working quite a while on this precious journal. I lucked out when I found this greeting card stored away! Isn't he just the cutest bluebird you have ever seen?🤗 Well, truthfully, I've never seen one in person! But, I hope they are as fluffy as the one in this picture.😊 This journal was constructed with chipboard, covered with scrapbook paper and has a interesting binding. There is a link at the end of the post to the video I used to learn this binding.

Also, If you would like to see a page by page video of my Bluebird Springtime Journal in all its glory, please check out the link at the end of my post! 🌷💙🌷

💙The front cover. I tore the edge of  bluebird picture.
Sewed it over a piece of faux fur.
Added die cuts & sequins.
The tassel is made with ribbons and beads.🌸

🌷All the pretty pages!

🌸I sewed lots of pretty trim & laces onto the page edges.

🌼I found a little charm I had made & tied it to embroidery floss as a bookmark.

🌸I made this springtime altered paperclip and attached it to one of the lucky pages!

🐰🌷🐥Bunny & Chicks Altered Paperclips

🌷Hello crafty friends! Before I say goodbye to my favorite spring holiday, I have to share these adorable embellished paperclips! I found this precious paper collection online. They came all the way from New Zealand! Took awhile to get here, but worth the wait!💛I will put a link at the end of the post so you can order them too. I carefully wet the edges of each picture with a little paintbrush, then used my fingers to tear the pictures to the size I wanted. Let dry and used distress ink on the torn edges. I coated each picture with a glitter paint and then glued it along with all the ribbons, sequins and metallic thread onto a folded card stock rectangle. Then, I hot glued it shut with the paperclip inside and the larger part outside. I used my Cricut to design the cutest presentation card! By the way, I'm getting to really enjoy that purchase!🙂 🐥🐰Lets take a look at all these cute bunnies & chicks! Click on each picture for a sharper image. 🐥So Cute!🐰 🐥Each card will ...
