Life is a Picnic Travel Journal

🌼 Is it summer yet?

Yes, we are in the deepest part of winter here in northern Wisconsin, but I'm dreaming of our first picnic!🍉🌞 I decided I needed a little travel journal that would keep my menu ideas, favorite picnic spots, and favorite wine list all in one spot!🍓

It will also have room for lots of photos and places to journal all the memories.💕 Using my Cricut, I made different die cuts, made lots of pockets and added a ribbon to tie it closed.

I made the pretty circle doily and picnic basket with a Cricut.🍉

🌞Added a grommet and ribbon to tie it closed.

I made menu cards to give me some ideas on food to prepare.😊I want a full picnic basket!🌸Yum

and, printed out the recipes and tucked them in a pocket!🍉

🌼This sweet travel journal has a hand sewn binding. It was made with card stock weight paper.

🎼Music Notes & Bicycle Journal

🌸 Hi crafty friends🙂 I fell in love with a certain scrapbook paper pad today💝As soon as I saw the bicycle page I imagined it as a beautiful photo book💕🎼The bicycle, the beautiful flowers and music themed background is just stunning🌸 I made this with a technique using 3 notecards and 2 matching envelopes. 🌸Hi, You can’t see me, but yup! I’m doing my happy dance! 💃 I finally got the nerve to dive into the world of blogging! I will be sharing my spin on crafting ideas seen all over the internet. 🐰🌷🐥Bunny & Chicks Altered Paperclips

🌷Hello crafty friends! Before I say goodbye to my favorite spring holiday, I have to share these adorable embellished paperclips! I found this precious paper collection online. They came all the way from New Zealand! Took awhile to get here, but worth the wait!💛I will put a link at the end of the post so you can order them too. I carefully wet the edges of each picture with a little paintbrush, then used my fingers to tear the pictures to the size I wanted. Let dry and used distress ink on the torn edges. I coated each picture with a glitter paint and then glued it along with all the ribbons, sequins and metallic thread onto a folded card stock rectangle. Then, I hot glued it shut with the paperclip inside and the larger part outside. I used my Cricut to design the cutest presentation card!
